Paradise Found
“We may not have our cake in the freezer, but I still have sand in my wedding shoes,” muses this beautiful bride. A wedding that doubles as a vacation — can you think of a dreamier or more laidback way to wed?
t’s nearly 6 PM at the beach — and a languorous hush has fallen over those last, late-in-the-day lingers. As your wedding party pops up on the sand, anticipation fills the air among all present, waiting for a glimpse at the bride as she appears through the dunes.
A breezy dress, a sun-kissed glow. Pants rolled up past your ankles. The surf surrounding a circling of chairs and closest family. The simplest of bouquets. A flower in your windswept salty hair. You say “yes” as the sun starts to set.
Guide your coterie to a cozy cabana just off the beach for a Champagne toast and the freshest seafood served at dusk.
When the celebration winds down, everyone can meander home, sandals in hand, no limos or big send-off necessary. And, waking in an open-air room that overlooks a private pool…and the ocean? Sounds like you’re already on your honeymoon.
